Cemetery Dreamer

Cemetery dreamer
Late night believer
I breathe in October's decay

Mourning saviors
and kneeling sinners
I'm kissed by death beloved
in the afternoon

Holy roses rotting
under silver skies
Mary and her marble angels
watch over me

Granite wings outstretched
Fallen tears on wet grass
I walk where love eternal
is laid to rest
